INGESTION:  Major.  Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice.  Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow.  Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor.  Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

EYES:  Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes.  Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

INHALLATION: Minor irritation.  Remove victim to fresh air.  If breathing has stopped, call 911 or have a trained person perform artificial respiration.  Seek medical care.

SKIN:  Remove contaminated clothing.  Rinse skin immediately with water for 15-20 minutes.  Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Effects of acute exposure:  Minor irritation can occur from liquid mist or vapour contacting respiratory tract, eyes, and skin.  Toxic by ingestion.

Gloves:  neoprene, nitrile, butyl rubber, or polyvinyl alcohol are recommended.

Eye Protection:  Chemical safety goggles or face shield is recommended.

Respirator:  If heavy fumes or vapours are present, use a MSHA or NIDSH approved respirator.

Clothing:  Apron

Footwear:  Impervious boots using same materials as for gloves.
